A couple of months back we reported about ST21i Tapioca which is rumored to be a low end smart phone from Sony. Indonesian Postel site gives us a hint that the handset will be called ‘Xperia Tipo’ and there are details regarding a similar model code named ST21i2 ‘Xperia Tipo Dual’ which could be the dual sim version of Xperia Tipo.
Xperia tipo will pack a Qualcomm MSM7227 800MHz processor with Adreno 200 GPU, 512MB RAM, 3MP camera (No flash) capable of recording videos at VGA resolution (640 x 480). The phone will have a 3.2-inch (320 x 480) display and will get the power from a 1450mah battery. Xperia tipo will run ICS.
