The most users know that the branded phones will get firmware updates later than generic ones. For example a few X8 users still have 1.6 because their provider hasn’t released 2.1 yet. But this time something strange happened: The O2 UK users got their 2.3.3 update before Generic phones get it! Only a few regions already have it, including Hong Kong (Look here). We expect that the generic firmware users will get the update in the next weeks. Unfortunately I still don’t have information about PLAY updates.
