Some of you may remember the ‘does it? doesn’t it?’ sage over the X10’s multi-touh capabilities before, and shortly after it launched. For weeks there were conflicting reports that the device did and did not have the capability to support multi-touch input. Finally the matter was settled when Sony Ericsson announced that the handset could not technically support the feature. Case closed.
… well no. Steup the intrepid boffins at XDA Developers. As you can see from the video below they’ve managed to come up with a hack that gives the X10 rudimentary multi-touch input. It’s by no means perfect and currently it’s not available to the X10 owning public, but as the say goes, where there is a will, there is a way.
