A big thank you goes out to all the developers at E3 who stopped by the Sony Ericsson booth to talk to the Developer World team. We were very excited to meet with each of you and hear about your apps and games. We had several great discussions that led into asking developers to share their game ideas through our Standout site, so that they could potentially be part of marketing activities and placement in Sony Ericsson channels.
Meanwhile, the Xperia™ PLAY took center stage following our announcement of 20 new games to be launched in the coming months. We demoed several of these exclusive Xperia™ PLAY titles, including Minecraft™, Pocket Legends, Star Legends, Hockey Nations, and Sleepy Jack. We’ll be releasing a video compilation of the gameplay for these games very soon.
With a number of gaming partners working in our booth, we also took the opportunity to do video interviews with them. We’ve already published our video interview with Mojang, the company responsible for the wildly-popular Minecraft™. In the coming weeks, we’ll also be posting exclusive video interviews with more game developers to get an inside look into how their games have been optimized for the Xperia™ PLAY.
