Another big week passes, especially for all of you gamers out there. Our PlayStation™ team hit Cologne, Germany for the annual video game extravaganza, Gamescom. We’re sure most of you will have tuned into our live streaming feed of the incredibly busy night, but for those of you who missed it, don’t worry we’ve got all of the highlights for you. We even managed to sneak in a few announcements and reveals of our own before the show kicked off.
For those of you didn’t catch the live stream here’s what you missed: the first Bloodborne gameplay trailer and new clips for the incredible LittleBigPlanet 3, inFAMOUS First Light, Murasaki Baby and The Order 1886. But of course we managed to squeeze in a handful of new game reveals too with: Journey, The Unfinished Swan and Hustle Kinds soon to hit PS4. We also gave you a teaser of what to expect from the forthcoming PS4 2.0 firmware update.
We were thrilled to announce that we’ve actually sold 10 million PlayStation 4 consoles already – you guys clearly love this beauty as much as we do. And not to forget the most exciting thing of all we revealed the release date for PlayStation TV on its way to you 14th November.
It’s safe to say we truly spoilt our fans at this year’s Gamescom. There’s so much to tell we couldn’t quite fit in all in but for more news and updates from Gamescom make sure you check out the re-watch video here.

From video games to action shots…Our Sony Action Cam team have been at it once again, this time with professional snowboarder Danny Davis. Danny took to the glacier of Mount Hood armed with a Sony Action Cam just to show us how incredibly talented he is and by his footage we’re certainly blown away – take a look now.
Speaking of videos Sony Music and Epic Records were thrilled to premier the late King of Pop’s new music video ‘A Place with No Name’ on Twitter …it’s the first music video that has ever premiered on Twitter. The song features on this year’s #MJXSCAPE album.
We can’t forget the super moon that graced the sky on Sunday night. Of the three super moons of summer 2014 this one was the largest and brightest. Don’t worry if you missed it, our Sony snappers were on hand to capture the moment and if you’d love to see it yourself keep your eyes peeled to the night sky on September 9th.
