Some of you may have already noticed, but we’ve recently introduced a couple of new and improved Xperia camera apps for our smart social camera. Oh, and we’ve made our AR Effects app even better.
In addition to the ongoing work with external partners bringing you new experiences to the ever-expanding platform, the team at Developer World have been working on including a couple of added extras to our existing ones…
Up first is Perfectly Clear; an award-winning image correction tool by Athantech that works with your Xperia’s camera to allow you to perfectly edit your photos. So you can capture brilliant pics with the 20.7 MP camera of Xperia Z2 then add the finishing touches with the Perfectly Clear app.
Next is a Sony original creation – Voice Balloon Photo; a fun and engaging Xperia camera app that really brings your photos to life. When activated in the camera apps menu, Voice Balloon uses voice recognition to capture what people are saying before a photo is being taken. The app then cleverly inserts speech bubbles on to the photo, adding another fun dimension to your digital memories. Fun eh!
In addition to these shiny new apps, we’ve also added two major updates to our ever-popular AR Effects app. Firstly, we’ve added a new set of downloadable themes that give you have an even larger choice of fun and engaging effects to help customise your photos and videos. The new AR Effects include, Horror, Comic, and most importantly of all, the effect demoed by our CEO Kuni on stage during this year’s Mobile World Congress – the Amazing Spider-Man!
For our Xperia Z2 customers there’s some added fun with AR Effects video, a cool extension to the original app that allows you to capture sound as well as adding fun AR effects in action to your personal videos. To download these new features and AR Effects, make sure you’ve got the latest version of the AR Effects app installed on your device first, then add new effects from within the app.
