At IFA today in Germany Sony Mobile announced three new phones and a tablet! The phones are called T (Mint – obviously their new flagship), V (a water-proof LTE phone) and J (a cheap ICS device).
Some more details:
XPERIA T:
- Size: 128 x 67 x 9 mm
- Weight: 136 g
- Screen: 4.6″
- OS: ICS 4.0
- CPU: 1.5 GHZ dualcore
- Release: quarter 3 2012
- Price: 549 €
In my opinion the Xperia T is a pretty sexy smartphone from Sony. I just hope that they offer Android Jelly Bean soon. Maybe it is a bit overpriced but let’s wait for the release (and the real price).
XPERIA V:
- Size: 128 x 65 x 8.5 mm
- Screen: 4.3″
- OS: ICS 4.0
- CPU: 1.5 GHZ dualcore
- Release: quarter 4 2012
- Price: 579 €
Finally a LTE compatible phone from Sony and has a 13mp camera. As for T it needs an upgrade to Jelly Bean and seems a bit overpriced, too. Its design is iPhone-like in my opinion.
XPERIA J:
- Size: 124 x 61 x 9 mm
- Weight: 130 g
- Screen: 4.0″
- OS: ICS 4.0
- CPU: 1.0 GHZ dualcore
- Release: quarter 4 2012
- Price: 239 €
You remember the W580 light-effects? This phone has them, too! You can add different light-effects for many different events like calls, facebook notifications, etc… It is the cheapest phone, too. Only 239€ – and you get ICS for that.
