Sony Mobile servers hit again by hackers

Sony has confirmed that their servers in China were hacked and not less than 400 customers’ details has been looted out by the hackers. A group, calling itself  ’Null\Crew‘  cracked into Sony servers a couple of days ago criticizing Sony’s security measures to keep the website and the customer data secure. They didn’t forget to comment on their brave attempt to hack the servers:

Sony, we are dearly disappointed in your security. This is just one of eight Sony servers that we have control of. Maybe, just maybe considering IP addresses are available. Maybe, just maybe it’s the fact that not even your customers can trust you. Or maybe, just maybe the fact that you cannot do anything correct technologically.

Today Sony issued their statement on the website breach and said that the server actually belonged to an unnamed third party and is not directly managed by Sony itself. The company also confirmed that no credit card or banking information was leaked. Sony said that the stolen data is actually the details of only 400 customers that was stored to conduct sales promotions and other events and the situation is nothing serious and is totally under control.
