This week’s been a big one!
Le Tour de France (or as most people will be calling it this weekend, Le Tour de Yorkshire) kick starts bright and early tomorrow morning. Of course we couldn’t resist getting in on the action. So we’ve commandeered a flock of five sheep and kitted them out with Action Cams. We’re not entirely sure they understand the technicalities of aperture or backlight sensitivity, but the sheepcams are rearing and ready to go, they’ll just need yew to tune in (sorry – couldn’t resist).
From snapping sheep to swarming streets. Swarm is our inaugural App of the month – a now regular post that will be bringing to you the most innovative apps in the app market today! So when you’re out and about at the weekend make sure you try it out, it’s perfect for checking to see if you’re friends are hanging around in your area.
In other news; we celebrated the 35th anniversary of the incredible WALKMAN®. Think back to the days when music was revolutionised. The original WALKMAN empowered us to walk out of the front door with our cassettes and magnetic tapes. Everyone from Seinfeld to the Fresh Prince was in love with the WALKMAN and it’s incredible to see how we’ve evolved, with the WALKMAN™ app acting as the perfect tribute to its 35-year-old legacy. Happy birthday WALKMAN!
Oh and don’t forget if you’re near Westfield in London tonight check out the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ quarter finals in state of the art 4K at Vue cinema. You don’t want to miss this stunning live sport spectacular. And of course keep your #sharethemoment shots coming, we love them!
Whether you’re tuning into Wimbledon, the World Cup or Le Tour this weekend the brand new 65” Sony 4K Ultra TV will show you the rackets, the ball and the bikes in astounding detail. Check out the SGNL video where it took two people to assemble this beauty. So grab a friend to give you a hand and tune in to one of the best sporting there is this weekend.
