While the magicians over at xda-developers try to crack open the yet unhackable Sony Ericsson bootloader found on current Xperia devices, the Head of Developer Program and Partner Engagement for Sony Ericsson Mobile, Simon Walker, tweeted a rather interesting message, which certainly gives hope to customers who prefer having their device the way they want.
Although the tweet was rather vague, as nothing was mentioned about the way root method would be implemented, nor if the bootloader will be unlockable in order to gain full root access; it still was enough to show that Sony Ericsson is listening to their customers’ needs, even if those aren’t in their best interests.
Do you think Sony Ericsson should ease off with their anti-rooting practice and allow users to use their devices to the full potential?
