PlayStation Phone To Be Called XperiaPlay?
It looks like we have a name to put to the pictures of the PlayStation phone … the XperiaPlay. At least that’s the phrase being used to register domains by a PR company working for Sony Ericsson.
Of course this all fits in well with the existing chatter that the PlayStation phone would be branded under the Xperia line. It also reinforces the belief that the handset’s announcement and/or launch can’t be too far off now. Many are speculating for a release sometime early next year. Certainly MWC would seem like a good opportunity for Sony Ericsson to grab some headlines with a big name announcement.
In fact it seems that an announcement may take place in February, but the handset itself may not make it to the shops until April. Of course that sort of timescale would be pretty good for Sony Ericsson, which seems to face constant delays in getting anything to market.

Android Sneaks Into iPad App Advertisement
The Swiss Broadcasting Company created an iPad app …
The app is pretty decent as far as I am aware, it shows off the company’s videos, articles, etc, all pretty much standard fare for an app from a media company. Now to promote said app an advertisement was created … and that’s where it gets interesting.
The advertisement took the form of a video, a video showing the story of Swiss folk hero William Tell. There is a delicious little homage to Apple at the start of the video as William Tell shoots an apple off his son’s head. The apple has a bite out of like the Apple logo.
A little later on the video shows Tell’s uprising against the evil tyrant and amongst the crowds of uprising peasants there is the little Android that could.
An Android nestled amongst a crowd deposing a tyrant. Symbolism or what?!
