Next, a hop from the aural to the visual. The Sony World Photography Awards 2014 took place this week – and with 139,000 entries, the team had its work cut out picking category winners. Take a look at some of the simply unbelievable shots here, and for those of you in the UK, pieces by the winners will be shown as part of the Award Exhibition at Somerset House, London – so head down between the 1st and 18th of May to witness the magic!
