Android 5.0; Lollipop rolls from this week* for Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition devices…
It’s Google’s latest, sweet software treat bringing some pretty cool features including;
- A fresh, more streamlined take on user interface; “Material Design”
- New look notifications and lock screen, so you only get the relevant info you need
- Faster slicker performance; multiuser accounts and better battery life with “Project Volta”
It’s also worth noting, we’ve published source code and binary files for custom ROM developers to build AOSP Lollipop for Xperia Z Ultra devices with an unlocked boot loader – get the full scoop over at Developer World.
The update for Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition will hit over-the-air and should be with you soon – next up, we’re looking forward to bringing Android 5.0; Lollipop to the entire Xperia Z Series starting from the early part of 2015… so stay tuned for the latest!
