Ostatnio czytałem gdzieś opis konferencji jednego z naszych konkurentów i zaintrygowało mnie to, że w pierwszym zdaniu autor podał ile urządzeń LTE jest w ofercie tego operatora, chociaż jak rozumiem, nie był to główny przekaz prezentacji. A jednak widocznie liczba urządzeń w ofercie jest ważna. My też w takim razie musimy ją dokładnie policzyć.

Tymczasem starty nowy Samsung Note 2 wchodzi do oferty, tym razem jednak z LTE. Już 12 listopada może się komuś bardzo przydać. Szczególnie w jednym z 13 miast Nie pasuje mi ta liczba 13, jestem przesądny. Musimy jeszcze coś tam dodać koniecznie.

Last week you probably saw Google announce Android version 4.4; Kit Kat…

We’ve seen lots of questions on our Android upgrade roadmap and equally, we have lots to tell you, so here’s a note on just that…

First up, Jelly Bean 4.3

We’re pleased to tell you that we’ll start rolling Android 4.3 for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 from next month*.

We also mentioned that a few of our products would be jumping software version – so, we can confirm that Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V* will be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean 4.3… also from next month.

And, to Kit Kat 4.4

We’re also happy to tell you about the first raft of Xperia products that we’ll make Android 4.4 Kit Kat available for – they are: Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1*.

On that, please stay tuned to the social newsroom and @SonyMobileNews, where we’ll update you with specific info on product upgrade timings & software features as things progress.

Andrew Scriven is a London-born photographer, teacher and environmentalist who has spent the last few years of his life travelling the world and cataloging his journeys through photography. He was a 2011 finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards and won the People’s Choice award for National Geographic’s World in Focus contest in 2010.

Andrew took an Xperia Z1 to London’s South Bank to shoot these images, highlighting Timeshift burst as his favourite feature. In his words “I asked a skater to jump in the light for me and this was the first shot I took. I was delighted with it. For me, the timeshift burst is an incredibly impressive feature on the Z1. The camera saves 62 images over 2 seconds and I can easily select the best one. It even records before I press the shutter button so it’s ideal for capturing moments like these.”

A fortnight ago, Yasu Nomura (Xperia Camera UX and Product & Portfolio Planning) answered your questions on our #XperiaZ1chat. When we did that interview we also asked Yasu if he could come up with the top five most amazing Xperia Z1 camera facts, and these are his answers:

First off, this might be cheating (& obvious) but many people aren’t away that Xperia Z1 is fully waterproof – imagine taking shots underwater? Much of the technology I’m about to talk through functions beneath the surface as well as above it…

1. Superior Auto mode automatically maximises the contribution of each of Xperia Z1’s camera elements; configured to detect 36 different scene types, and it does it all without any noticeable delay in the shooting experience. Superior Auto allows Xperia Z1 to automatically select which of the camera modes will best suit any given situation. It then tweaks the internal settings using smart algorithms to help users capture the best photo easily and quickly.

So for example, Superior Auto provides a stable “night landscape” after recognising conditions, and setting a slower shutter speed for better reproduction of color with less noise.

For well-lit conditions, it automatically senses the scene and enhances memory colours; blues, greens (those colours inseparable from certain common objects or events)…

2. The precision in the construction of the Sony G lens in Xperia Z1 is just incredible. Because we wanted to offer a brighter and wider angle than camera phone photographers are used to, it meant that the tolerances on the lens had to be absolutely flawless – each component is tested individually before being put together, then the final lens goes through yet another testing process where the last variances are perfected.

3. Timeshift burst – Xperia Z1 has the computational power to constantly buffer enough data for up to 60, 2 megapixel images every one thirtieth of a second. It’s serious innovation in camera performance, and means you’ll never miss that perfect shot again!

4. I was amazed by the possibilities that introducing the BIONZ^TM for mobile engine allowed us to explore. Xperia Z1’s camera is actually capable of high-sensitivity image processing up to ISO6400 using Sony’s industry leading noise reduction tech. This kind of performance would have been really difficult to emulate without the BIONZ^TM for mobile engine^.

5. Despite all these features, for me the most amazing thing about the camera in Xperia Z1 is the way the whole thing comes together – the perfect marriage of the Sony G Lens to the large 1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, to the BIONZ^TM for mobile engine – can you imagine what you would have said if, even 3 years ago someone had told you that we would be able to produce a camera that worked underwater, in the dark and produced great quality? Let alone that the camera in question would be in a slim, waterproof bodied smartphone?

I know I wouldn’t have believed it possible. It’s a fantastic testament to what can be achieved when innovation across Sony comes together.

Nie wiem czy jest to news na bloga, ale postanowiłem podziękować agencji K2 za wieloletnią pełną zaskakujących zwrotów akcji i ekscytującą  współpracę Jak można Was nie lubić. W końcu to Wy stworzyliście Zająca Mroku  Powodzenia GOOD (K2)w nowej roli agencji wspierającej ATL.

Przetarg na agencję interaktywną prowadzony był od lipca i uczestniczyło w nim 5 agencji.  Zwycięzcą przetargu na obsługę w zakresie marketingu internetowego, stworzenia i obsługi nowego portalu oraz kampanii reklamowych online została agencja Artegence. W pierwszym kwartale 2014 roku nastąpi przejęcie obsługi od obecnej agencji – K2, z którą Play kończy współpracę w zakresie marketingu internetowego.

Jednocześnie rozstrzygnięty został przegląd na dodatkową  agencję ATL, która obok Grandes Kochonos będzie wypracowywać kampanie reklamowe dla Play.  Zwycięzcą tego postępowania została agencja  reklamowa Good będąca częścią Grupy K2. Play kontynuuje równocześnie współpracę z Grandes Kochonos, będącą główną agencją w tym obszarze.
