This morning, Sony Mobile opened up its booth at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, introducing the new Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia M4 Aqua, alongside a range of new experiences.
Our new President & CEO, Hiroki Totoki, also took to the stage to share his vision for Sony Mobile’s future, setting the course for innovation driven by consumer insights and a fresh entrepreneurial spirit.

Xperia Z4 Tablet – the world’s slimmest and lightest 10” tablet[i]

Starting this week, Sony Mobile’s Xperia Lounge service will be getting a new look and feel, with enhanced year-round offers and information for Xperia customers – no matter which product they have. Whether it’s through Xperia Lounge Silver, which is available to all Xperia customers, or Xperia Lounge Gold for Xperia Z series owners, customers will get access to exclusive competitions and offers; be among the first to try out new apps; and enjoy the latest movies, TV episodes and music included with their device.
In addition, Sony Mobile will be exploring new partnerships, delivering unique experiences and unforgettable moments for customers to discover the extraordinary in the everyday.
“Through the rest of this year and beyond we are going to continue to deliver experiences beyond hardware – with services and partnerships – to surprise and delight our customers,” continued van Schie. “To help our customers discover what they can experience through their Xperia, we’ll be investing heavily in Xperia Lounge. It’s a customised, personalised, service that introduces them to the world of Sony, personalised for them.”
